E J Develop Haig Homes Door
E J Group Limited were approached by Haig Homes to match an existing regimental style timber door used on a number of their properties, but upgraded to meet the full Secured by Design specification and high standard of other E J doors.
Haig Homes was established as a Charitable Trust in 1929 as a memorial to Field Marshal Earl Haig in recognition of his work to highlight and solve many problems facing ex-service people and their families. He was particularly concerned with the plight of those disabled during their service in war and the difficulties created by this in their civilian lives. The object of the Trust is to provide housing assistance to ex-service people and their dependants, by letting homes at affordable rents. Currently the Association has over 1300 houses, maisonettes and bungalows throughout the UK, built between 1930 and 1990.
