The double glazed units are manufactured to BS EN 1279 in our glass assembly department and have been awarded
Q-mark certification by BM TRADA Certification. They have been tested for moisture penetration in accordance with
BS EN 1279-2 and awarded a certificate of test: Chilt/G06019 by Chiltern Dynamics.
The double glazed units are all manufactured using a 6.4mm laminated external skin and 4mm toughened internal skin to
BS 6206, desiccant filled aluminum spacer bar and hot melt butyl edge sealant.

All double glazed units include a Pilkington K low emissivity skin to enhance thermal insulation. The coating on Pilkington K
glass allows short wave radiation, like sunlight, through but reflects long wave radiation, such as heat from radiators, back
into the home reducing energy consumption.
